Thilo
Thilo is a nearly grown son of Wilhelm and Käthe. Apparently, he is used by the family to carry messages to bandits who live in the woods three miles south of Putzdorff. After their guests settled down for the night, Thilo's parents sent him with a message for the bandits, but the guests escaped from the village, and soon confronted Thilo on the road, while he was on his way back to the village. Though clearly nervous, Thilo kept his wits about him. He admitted to what he was doing, and gave some information about the bandits, but he also suggested that the local magnates like the ones who employed the party might want to provide food and defense for the villagers instead of just claiming overlordship over them - otherwise, they have to choice but to help turn to the bandits.
Thilo then led the party to the bandit hideout.
He is a rather tall boy of around 14, and apparently, an experienced rider.
