The Sensenmann

The Grim Reaper. The leader of the Totentanz, and the destroyer of multiple cities in and around Markwald.

He is known to have devastated Silberbad, and killed roughly half of its people. As a condition for sparing the town in the future, he forced the local authorities to raze the walls, and also to offer a maiden to the Sensenmann when he returns on All Souls' Eve. The maid selected for this year is Elsa, daughter of the town notary. A possible third condition was the erection of the Sensenmann's statue in the town's main square, where it proclaims ET IN ARCADIO EGO.
