The Guy

The Guy is a short Fee creature who lives in a hut on the shore of the Pool of Insight in Albenheim. He is a solitary creature who seems to spend his time making furniture, carving wood, decorating his hut, making magical items out of wood, and boating around the pool. He is interested in making deals for information and the items he makes, but is reluctant to give away his name. He may make deals to do so, but either inserts a clause into the agreement making giving him an out, or (depending on one's viewpoint), simply reneges on the deal. He is interested in learning other people's names, however. 
The Guy put Franz der Schwarzhoffen, Eddi, and Dietmar up for one night in his hut, taking various odds and ends (including fire-making equipment) as payment. The following day, he played games of chance with Franz for names, but ended up telling the latter nothing. He did, however, trade the group a magical fishing pole and a talking doll in exchange for part of Franz's name.  
The Guy is a skinny and lanky creature, standing about three and a half feet tall. He doesn't care much about personal appearance, but can be shamed into casing magical spells to make himself appear tidier.
