Survivors in Hegenburg
The people who stayed behind in Hegenburg after the city had been emptied during the winter are said to number 60. More than half were encountered in the dormitory of the St. Margaret abbey at the city's cathedral. The vast majority of them looked emaciated and beaten down. After a fight with some wererats in the town Rathaus, many of them were discovered to have bite marks on their limbs. Dietmar later confirmed that they were indeed infected with lycanthropy.
