Bandits Near the Entrance to Fallsmar

These people are assumed to be bandits, though they have not yet robbed or performed violence against anyone. They live in a series of small huts in the foothills of the Düst Mountains. There seem to be about a dozen of them. They also have several dogs, one of which was killed by Narcissa during the first encounter. After all her companions happened upon the bandits' huts, the bandits demanded restitution for the slain dog, and were given 10 marks by Winifred. This caused the interaction to turn more amiable for the moment, and for the price of four wolf pelts, the bandits told the party that there are hidden shafts called Edstalls in some of the low-lying areas nearby. The party went off to explore these, and realized that they could not uncover any tunnels without shovels and picks. Narcissa returned, and used magic and seduction to get the bandits' leader to give her the tools they required. But after the party became trapped in a tunnel, the bandits returned, incensed that magic had been used against them. They taunted the party, offering them a way out, and saying they would never survive Fallsmar even if they found a way in.
