Humans

Humans are one of the holdovers from the Old Galaxy and were transplanted from those lost stars before nearly 75% of all the other races that are sheltered in Markait. With them came preexisting cultures, fields of science, and an enviable amount of technological base.

Humans are bipedal sentient creatures with a wide array of colors, features, and temperaments. They are all allegedly from the same stock from a far off place simply known as The Old Galaxy by scholars. While not the only race brought from that far off place, they do seem to be the most numerous of all sentient species, with countless variations and templates.

Physical Description

Humans are a bipedal mammalian sentient species, with two eyes, an olfactory sensor placed squarely in the center of their faces. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors, with the latter being affected by abundance or deficit of a compound called melanin. Various ethnicities of humans have different amounts of native melanin but concentrations are also affected by star damage. Even more varied than their skin color is their hair color, which might not even stay the same throughout their entire life, if they keep it at all.

Homeworld

Humans are spread throughout the habitable stars of Markait, and are the widest spread species among the sentient races.
