The Tales of Eora

The events of Eora are plentiful and extraordinary, but mostly kept inside of the continent.   Though some relations happen between the two mainlands of Manterra, they keep to themselves regarding their politics and most inventions.   Eora has seen many civilizations rise and fall on its land, a few eras have passed before the start of the Great War that changed both the political and partly geographical landscape of the larger continent.

Draconic Era

897 1963

At the dawn of civilization no mortal help neither divine nor arcane power. The dragons, both metallic and chromatic, did hold some small sway over the world around them. While chromatic dragons held firmly to their knowledge of the arcane, most still to this era, the metallic dragons showed some of their abilities to the first Elves who then developed the first sigils and glyphs of arcane magic. For years to come this era would be kown as the Draconic Era, where magic was mainly the work of Dragon-Kin and the practice of magic was done mostly in Draconic.

    The Great War
    Military action

With the change of the Technological Era many conflicts that were brewing beneath the surface of the existing political forces came to a sudden boil and erupted into an all out war between the nations.
The war seemed endless and caused many deaths and the fall of one of the most ancient empires Eora has ever seen.
It is still unknown the exact event that set the war into motion and it is a baffling mystery to many historians of the modern era. Though relations were tense the war seemed to come out of the blue to most, many speculations are thrown around by many savants and the few Elder Elves that were alive at the time of the war and some Warforged that survived the conflict and were given freedom.
