Anatomy

Amoebian, even after reaching a stable form, remain invertebrates. Even if they can "produce" a skeleton, the solidity is soft like rubber. This is a blessing but also a curse: this protects them from blunt trauma more than the average humanoid with a skeleton, but also can betray their attempt to disguise or blend with other species.

Growth Rate & Stages

Growth rate varies extremely toward Amoebians because of their adaptative nature. The unique aspect of the amoebian is that they can shape however their soul feels like it. Of course, the main two factors that can influence that growth are either coming for their parent's genetic and in what environment they develop. For example, an amoebian with an orc parent and raised in an orc community have more chance to develop an orc morphology, or an Amoebian leaving nearby SillerOffen could develop a more toxic composition and behaviour. Some researchers think the emotions (and humour as described in ancient alchemy) affect their composition.
However, every amoebian is unique. For their gender and sex, they develop one they seem more comfortable with over time. AS a result, most young amoebians remain very ambiguous in their expression. Some amoebian also prefer to keep a more neutral and agender form, either for pride, or because they are comfortable with their neutral form. For others, they can become close to replicate a race they identify as. Some legend told some amoebian order managed to discover the way to completely transform as a perfect version of a race and event the secrets of cloning a body. But this secret remains.

Ecology and Habitats

The presence of amoebians is very varied, they can develop colonies in areas with strong magic, or be created by powerful mages for various purposes. Amoebians adapt to almost any temperates zones, as well as in the Underdark.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Amoebians can consume close to anything their body can dissolve. But most of the time, they are satisfied, with plants, fungis and meat. Some try to blend in by adopting their surroundings diet.They however do not develop strong taste buds, which make them the contrary of nitpickers.

Biological Cycle

Amoebians can reach a longer lifespan if they live in a colder environment, which reduces their inner metabolism speed. Amoebians, in average context,can live up to 300 years.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Due to their high control of their bodies, the amoebians can detect greatly through sense of touch. however, their sight is extremely limited, even for those that develop makeshift eyes to blend with other humanoids. Amoebians have about a third of sight capacities of an average human when they are developed to the fact. They compensate with their sense of touch and sometimes limited location through vibrations.
