History
Foxglove and Belladonna have been close ever since childhood, where they never competed, but instead were often at each other's sides, comparing information and contacts. They both recognized from early on that it's better to have an ally in a family member than an enemy, and have been almost inseparable ever since.
Nicknames & Petnames
Foxglove almost exlusively refers to his sister as 'Bella' or 'Bell', and Belladonna often affectionately calls Foxglove 'Fox'.
Shared Secrets
They both routinely sell out their votes in exchange for money and favors, and they both know the legal implications of such a thing.
History
Belladonna Preston and Catherine Rojo see each other frequently, and as such have had to keep negative feelings about each other well hidden, as is the case for most of the relationships within The Cedar Council. After Catherine broke Foxglove Lexington's nose, Belladonna has held Catherine in particular contempt, as her and her brother's enemies are one and the same. Catherine dislikes Belladonna because she can sniff out her complete lack of a moral compass, and tries to avoid being alone in a room with her.
History
Councilman Sarver and Councilwoman Preston didn't exactly get off on the right foot, as their first meeting where Valentino went to congratulate the newly appointed Belladonna, and as he was entering her office, she accidentally slammed the door in his face. Ever since, their relationship has been awkward, and Valentino doesn't particularly like her, especially on account of her and Foxglove Lexington's shady political dealings. Surprisingly, Valentino is one of the only councilmembers Belladonna actually likes, as she finds him perfectly reserved and rational, unlike some of the other councilmembers. Belladonna certainly likes Valentino more than he likes her, and every chance she gets she talks his ear off about something or other. Valentino responds with curt small talk.
Relationship Reasoning
The inherently political nature of their relationship makes Belladonna cling tighter to Valentino; she's constantly seeking out other alliances besides her brother. Unfortunately for her, Valentino is uninterested.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Belladonna's children went to the same daycare as Valentino's children; this is a fact she loves to bring up around Valentino, despite the fact Valentino's children have children and Belladonna's oldest is eight years old.
History
Belladonna often talks down to Sorza because of her age; because of this, and everything else about Belladonna's obnoxious personality, Sorza dislikes Belladonna. Belladonna, despite herself, is somewhat fond of Sorza, but this is simply because of her Charmer abilities.
History
Just like most of his colleagues, Omar has little tolerance for the Lexington siblings, as he finds them rude and intolerable. Omar, however, outwardly appears to love the both of them, but he's simply very good at masking his true feelings. Belladonna has never particularly cared for masking her true feelings about people, which stands out in every interaction she has with her fellow council members. The both of them have had to endure three brunches over the years, where Belladonna, Omar, Foxglove, and Omar's husband, Haris, sit down together for sickeningly sweet conversation.
