The Elven War Begins

For so long the elves had lived in peace together. This made their sudden descent into war all the more jarring.

After the Night of Darkness, the city fell quiet, each race of the elves tending to fall further into their own communities. More and more, Moon and Wood Elves abandoned the city, seeking peace away from the boiling cauldron that was the animosity between the High and Dark Elves.   The beginning of "The Rapture" began when King Thyral Malkavian broke off his marriage to the Queen Nira Heathbane, and declared the Dark Elves responsible for both the death of his daughter, and the attack during the Night of Darkness. Incensed by the accusation, the Dark Elves left the city en mass and began plotting the attack that would allow them to retake the city for themselves.
