The Influence of the Gods

Gods are nefariously fickle beings. So it was in the past, when a small group of lonely and terrified elves found themselves beset by gods clamoring for their attention.

As the elves began to establish themselves as best they could in their new environments, they found themselves lonely and looking for spiritual guidance as their previous gods had all been destroyed in their flight to this new world.   Corellon Larethian quickly became the primary god of the elves, espousing beliefs of Magic, Music, Arts, Crafts and Poetry something that each and every elf wanted to move towards attaining greatness in, especially in their current conditions.   The other deities of the elven pantheon slowly began gaining their own followers as well, including Aerdrie Faenya gaining support particularly among the wood elves, Selûne expanding her influence to the small amount of moon elves inhabiting this world, and Erevan Ilesere becoming the primary entity worshipped by the dark elves.
