The Final Blows

Military action

The influx of new support for the High Elves finally swung the war in their favour.

With the legions of dwarves, humans, gnomes, and halflings streaming to the fore of battlefields spanning the continent, the Dark Elves grew truly desperate, and convinced the evil Primordial Dragons to strike at the gathered masses of troops as a last ditch effort. While the effect was massive and thousands lost their lives with the renewed Dark Elf offensive following quickly behind the attacks, the goodly races held their ground and began to slowly push back. The Dark Elves had no more reserves, and were slowly, inexorably routed back to the Underdark. The Goodly Primordial Dragons sided with the Elves and used the last of their energy to seal away the power of their evil brethren. The toll on the Elves was not small by any means, decimating those involved in the ritual, and weakening the few survivors. The final act of the Evil Primordial Dragons was to drag the leader of the Goodly Primordial Dragons into the void that they were sealed into, and left without their sovereign, the Goodly Primordials retreated and hid.
