As the Elven war drew to a close, the races spread out to find their own places in the world.
The Primordials sealed away, and the threat of the dark elves ended for the time being, the contract between the elves and the other goodly races was concluded. The survivors of the calamitous war struck out to cement their own futures in this brand new world. The dwarves and gnomes began their exploration into the depths of the world, always vigilant of the dark elves lurking below, the elves, severely diminished after their war, grew ever more secluded from the other races, preferring solitude. The humans spread as humans are wont to do.
