The Lake Estel Provisional

The "L.E.P". as it is commonly referred to around Laketown is situated just a block past the main gate into the city. It is a large three story wood and stone building that carries all manner of arms and equipment, including some exotic stock, at inflated prices for outsiders. Everything in the store is approximately 50% more expensive than it should be. Step stools abound in the L.E.P. as it is run by the dwarven Stonetackle family. The patron of the family, Herzog Stonetackle, made his way from Stoneheart some 25 years ago and has been the proprietor of this prosperous shop ever since. He regularly deals with Edgar Whitetallow and has helped to fund many of his trips to Pathaltos.

The Lake Estel Provisional is not built above the lake.

Tourism

Because of Laketown's proxiity to the Plains of Despair and its reputation for being the final stop for many months of travel westward, the L.E.P. has inflated prices for outsiders traveling through.
