Merle Sandywine
Merle Sandywine is the silent, stoic half the twin Sandywine brothers who own and operate The Halfway House in The Donneshire Hills. While his brother Peter Sandywine takes the lead on greeting patrons and chatting them up, Merle takes care of the finances and making sure that day to day operations run smoothly. Merle rarely talks, even when engaged directly. Merle also takes the lead on making sure that their father, the senile Henry Sandywine stays out of trouble.
