Maxxon the Hammerlord
Maxxon the Hammerlord is a former adventurer and mercenary who parlayed his fortune into a fortified keep in the Plains of Despair known as the Hold of the Hammerlord. Far from the regulations of Kingdoms and the Free Cities, Maxxon is able to rule as he sees fit, taking a cut of the profits the hold makes as a waystation, trading post, and hiring hall to the various mercenary companies who enjoy the freedoms that he provides.
Maxxon is an older gentleman, with long grey hair and a thick mustache. Well built and powerful for his age, Maxxon still wields the magical two handed hammer that gave him his reputation. He is guarded by his constant companion, an Efreet named Br'ack.
