For day to day operations, Larissa is policed by a City Watch, overseen by Commandant Leslie Assard. In addition, the Spire of Truth also holds the Sorcerium, the Arsenal , and the College of Divinity which make it quite capable of defending itself from outside threats.

Larissa contains a number of plazas, amphitheaters, and fountains. Many tourists flock to the see Dolphallux Fountain near the main gates of the city.
