Great Dry Sea

The largest desert on continental Malatoria, the Great Dry Sea is a bleak place of shifting gray sands and black clouds that give no water.  Beneath its dunes are colossal monstrous horrors, crypts of evil sorcerers, and the corpses of lost souls swallowed by the unforgiving desert tide.

Geography

When not an endless tide of grey dunes, the sands of the Great Dry Sea are broken occasionally by black rocky outcroppings.  The Death's Head River also winds through the Great Dry Sea, its poisonous waters and plants a dangerous temptation to all things living.
