Goldfeathers

The Goldfeathers are the city watch and intelligence agency of the free city of Damarask. They are comprised mainly of soldiers and agents from the Armsedge and Aerie districts.
Station houses and offices for the Goldfeathers can be found throughout Damarask. Their main headquarters is The Golden Garrison in the Armsedge.
The current Chief of the Goldfeathers is Redianna the Redplumed.

Demography and Population

Aarakocra comprise over half (55%) of the number of Goldfeathers, with humans taking up a significant portion (35%) of their numbers as well.

Territories

Contrary to many of the other district specific laws and regulations of Damarask, the Goldfeathers possess jurisdiction over the entire city proper.  This has led to a number of tense situations and legal entanglements as Goldfeathers seek to serve justice on those whose apparently minor infractions are shielded by their respective districts.  In their roles as protectors, watchmen, and enforcers against dangerous crime in Damarask, however, Goldfeathers are typically given their due respect.
