Elves of the Fangwood Forest

The Elves of the Fangwood forest are known for their deep passions, brutal skill at arms, and harsh rebuke of trespassers.  Physically, their purple hued skin sets them apart from their high elven cousins in the Great Forest and wood elf cousins from the Gnollspur Forest.  They have no ties with goodly aligned kingdoms and are generally regarded as malevolent by the free peoples of Malatoria.  As such, much of their culture and domain remain a mystery.  
The Dark Elves are ruled over by King Thirrelin Aramor.

History

The Dark elves came to the Fangwood Forest from their original home of El-Isilfuine after the events in the Great Elven Schism, Dorellereth.  It is reported that the Dark elves have a very different accounting of the events leading to their forced exodus, and it remains the central point of contention between them and the Elves of The Great Forest.
