Delvingshore

Delvingshore is the collective name of a series of tightly clustered halfling villages built around the northwestern shoreline of the Glassfingers. Its people are known as able sailors and fishermen, although most prefer to keep close to the comforts of home.

Military

The halflings have an able bodied volunteer defense force to protect them from wandering monsters and threats from the land, but no standing army to speak of. The halflings are more capable on the water, where their navy and fast moving warships defend the Glassfingers from raiders and pirates.

Foreign Relations

With robust maritime operations, Delvingshore is on good terms with its neighbors, the Elves of Amrun Told.  Its proximity to Lasthome means that its merchants often do business with the free city.  From time to time the halflings of Delvingshore also have business with the Mysati people of the island of Ysfor.

Infrastructure

The collections of towns and villages that comprise the greater part of Delvingshore are connected by roads and canals that can be quickly navigated by the small folk.  
Delvingshore also possesses a large lighthouse near its main bay.  The fires atop of the Delvingshore Lighthouse help to guide pilots into the bay on foggy nights and signal the town from far off in the Glassfingers.
