Dallunderfjell

Dallunderfjell is the major gnomish civilization on East Ymmarion.  Located in the Stormwall Peaks, its gnomish citizens have learned to harness the elemental powers of water and lightning to create fantastic works and a thriving city.

The gnomes of Dallunderfjell are ambitious and curious with a thirst for innovation, and technology.  Having harnessed the wind, rain, and lightning from the Stormwall Peaks  for centuries, the gnomes hold those elements in high regard, a fact reflected in their art and architecture.

Technological Level

The gnomes' facility with elemental magic has allowed them to harness the frequent storms billowing in from the Sea of Tempests to create a form of hyrdro-electric power that benefits their society.

Trade & Transport

The Serpentine River serves as a major highway for the gnomes of Dallunderfjell.  They make frequent trading forays into the city of Durance in the Kingdom of Oryus.

Infrastructure

Dallunderfjell is comprised of a network of twisting passages within the Stormwall Peaks and a series of moving bridges and platforms without.  Waterfalls are common throughout the city, and the gnomes have built a series of wheels and turbines that utilize this natural power source.  Near the upper levels of the city, a vast array of lightning rods and windmills harness the wind and electrical energy brought by the frequent storms.
