Bay of Squalls

The Bay of Squalls is the largest inlet of Ysfor. It is known as "Kynnyntama" (Harbor of Thundering Waves" by the Mysati people who live there. It gets its name from the turbulent waves and frequent storms that crash into its beaches.

Localized Phenomena

As thunderstorms approach the island, the Bay of Squalls becomes rife with activity from a large species of electric eel known as the sytynkamo.  These eels writhe below the surface, agitated by the coming storm and glowing with electrical energy.
