Mount Veil

Mount Veil is the tallest peak in Maladase and is the Northern range of the Country, with Eskanda on the other side of the range, though it would be a perilous journey, even for a small group to make. 
Up in the peaks of Mount Veil, there are namely 3 things. The first is a litany of Empire bases and ruins from many wars that happened during both the creation and fall of the empire. The second are small camps of people who are comfortable in the cold, mostly Goliaths and some sects of Tieflings. The third are expedition members and small mining / hunting camps that will spend several months up in the Mountains before heading back down to Marquis to make their money. 
Two of the most notable things to keep an eye out for on Mount Veil are both the ice giants, and the beasts they are at war with, the white dragons of the peaks. Though they RARELY leave the mountains, they have scattered hundreds of expeditions up into the mountain and are the reason that it's a dangerous job to go up there.
