The Dawn Ceremony

The Mithran ceremony to celebrate the rising each morning of their god Mithra, the Sun.
This ceremony is also used by the Mithran sect to light the first candle of the day, by which the timekeeping of the major cities of the Sorendenese empire is maintained. The Dawnmaster does this at the same moment they feel the The Dawn Rush.
The Dawn Ceremony is also the preferred time that the Temple of Donai send the recently dead off to their god: Donai. As part of their daily ceremony they cremate the bodies of those who died the previous day on the rooftop of their temples.
