Mithra

Literally the Sun. Mithra is the chief god of the Sorendenese.
His power is felt by mystics and priests of all persuasions at the dawn of each day by an event called the Dawn Rush, and in the Sorendenese Empire it is acknowledged as proof of the existence of their chief god.
The main religious ceremony of the Mithran church is the Dawn Ceremony.
A common greeting by worshippers is 'Blessed Day'.
