Lionel
Baron Lionel
Lionel of Eldenora is the current Baron of Duadon, and a potential aspirant to the throne of Eldenora.
Lionel was not a favorite of the late Baron Corvis , his adopted father. Lionel was more academic, and while he aspired to be a warrior, he took to his studies more readily. Corvis had his eyes on the younger siblings to take on the mantle of rulership when the time came.
In MS 5092, Baron Corvis began a fruitful partnership with both Baron Loghain of Abesko and the Drodarin engineer Nithewin. He conspired with a small group of bandits to remove Lionel from consideration but his efforts were thwarted by a small group of adventurers hired by Lord Quislan.
Lionel returned to Duadon, but shortly left to study under Baron Loghain. While in Abesko, Lionel studied with the members of the Lion's Pride. Eventually, Lionel returned to Duadon and participated in the Eldenoran invasion of Salony. During the invasion, Lionel was given up for lost.
When Lionel was discovered by the Lion's Pride, he led them back to Duadon , assumed the throne, and quickly negotiated the Steamjack Accords . While he was lost in Rhem, he met Prince Stephan Strom and they have maintained their friendship since Lionel's assumption of power.

Relationships
History
Stephen Strom colluded with Lionel before Lionel assumed the Barony of Duadon. Stephen exhibits an understanding of the burden of leadership taken on at an early age. This leads him to feel protective of Lionel. While Lionel looks up to Stephen, but still maintains a distrust of other nobility.
