Thut
Thutmose is a province of the Corithan Empire and ruled directly by the emperor themselves but if one were to venture beyond the city of Ptolemy they would never know. The thut people practice customs that are older than the empire itself, worship their own gods, and live lives that are different than most anywhere else. Despite much of their home being a blasted desert the people of Thutmose survive and even thrive thanks to the Elcid river which enriches their soil for growing crops and enriches their coffers with the steady stream of goods that flow up the river from So-So and the Elcid Caliphate. Seeing the riches of the province for themselves ensures that nobody questions why the emperors have wanted to keep the province for themselves for more than a millennium.
Appearance
The thut people are generally short with thin frames and share many facial features in common with the imperials from Coritha including prominent eyes and aquiline noses, but have notably smoother jawlines and and thicker noses with a more pronounced brow. They have wavy or curly black hair and various shades of brown eyes.Naming Traditions
