Goldan

The Kingdom of Goldaron is the land of knights and mercenaries, the people are a hearty and martial lot that are used to conflict and strife; when they are not facing conflicts with orcs from the mountains of Dondar, or incursions of barbarians or monsters from the Wild Lands, they turn their attentions toward each other. Minor wars between noble houses are not uncommon affairs and would likely be even more common if not from the myriad outside threats they face. All citizens of Goldaron between the ages of 15 and 45 are obliged to drill with the spear and shortbow to serve as militia if their town or village is attacked.

Appearance

People of Goldan heritage are tall and broad with squared bodies. Their long faces' most prominent facial features tend to be their large eyes and long, thick, upward tilted noses and their chins and jaws alike tend toward being squared. Goldan skin tones range from fair to creamy and occasionally ivory while hair colors range from blonde to dark brown or brunette but seem to skip over red. The most common eye colors are blue, grey, and hazel, green and brown eyes are uncommon but not rare.
