Red Riders

Structure

The Red Riders, are led by a single member referred to as Firstblood. The Firstblood remains a leader until they die or choose to retire. The new Firstblood is usually nominated by the retiring Firstblood. In the case of the Firstblood's death, the new Firstblood is chosen from amongst the Secondbloods by the ruling monarch of Thanna.
There are usually between three and five Secondbloods at one time, and each takes on the command of two to three Battalions of Red Riders. Each Secondblood may nominate one or two Thirdbloods depending on the number of Battalions under their command. The Thirdblood will take on the leadership of a single Battalion while remaining under the direct command of the Secondblood.
Each Battalion of 525 Red Riders consists of Five Squadrons of 105, each one led by a captain. In turn, the Squadrons are made up of five troops of 21, each led by a major. These Troops are subdivided into three Patrol Squads of seven Red Riders commanded by a Squad Leader and their nominated Second.

Initiation Oath
