Amariai
The Mother
Amariai is the All-Mother, the light of creation. She is both the birth giver, and the taker of life, the maker, and the destroyer. It is unknown from whence she came, or what exactly she is. No one has ever seen her, and she does not meddle in mortal affairs. She is the only being that is truly omniscient and all-powerful, however, since she can hardly be discribed as a being at all, but instead an idea, or a force of reality, she does not often take action. She has many children, though the most notable are the Earthmakers.
Divine Domains
After the creation of mortals, she built a garden for them to rest when they died, so that they might forget the pains of life and heal themselves before being reborn. It is there that she rules and dwells, though none have seen her there.
Tenets of Faith
This goddess has no commandments or rules, nor does she require worshippers or offerings. She simply exists. Prayers to her will go unanswered. Thus, she has no organized preisthood or sacred rituals directly associated with her, though every Majan culture accepts her as the ultimate creater in one form or another.

Personal history
The cannon of the Goddess is hazy, and the exact date of her inception is unknown. She existed before time, and will exist after time as well. She created many children, the first was Aja, her golden son. To him, she poured out all her light and fire, and he built for himself a palace in the sky that lit up existence. Then, she created Hira, Perrion, Uain, and Morre. To the first three of these, she gave special gifts. To Hira, she gave a vial of her own birth-water. To Perrion, she gave a strand of her hair. To Uain, she gave a drop of blood, and told them all to make what they wished. Thus, the earth was created, and the three became known as the Earthmakers.
