Frustrated with the strict demon worship of their lothian leaders, centuries ago a large number of minor houses left to establish a new drow society where diverse outlooks were accepted.

Oshlono houses rarely hold fealty to a demon lord, many instead feel the call of the protean lords and embrace chaos, art, and freedom. Often their towns and cities have proteans living among them, instructing proteges in the power of disorder.
