Dali

Dali is still a multicultural society, with human the most common ancestry, but by no means the majority. Dalian cities have a diverse mix of human, elven, dwarvish, gnomish, goblinoid, orcish and many other ancestries present.

Dali culture is warm and welcoming, communities tend to be tight-knit and inclusive. In the warm months, Dali settlements are bustling late into the evening with street performers, artists and dining. Dalians are exaggerated communicators with much gesturing and emphasis added in normal conversation. Physical touching is expected between acquaintances.

Dali settlements tend to be brightly coloured, many flags are hung from houses and poles. Clothes are also often brightly coloured. After the days work is done, work clothes are traded for flashier evening wear.

Dali culture in the nation of Ladowvault is dampened somewhat by the focus of the majority to support humans first. Smot and Gaucia fully embrace all Dalians, regardless of ancestry.
