Chryssa Collins

As for most half-elves, Chryssa grew up in a human community. She was told early on, that her kind is not generally accepted among the elves and thus, she always felt like she had a part of her identity that was left unexplored. When she turned 15, however, she followed her desire to get to know more about elves. She found a secluded and isolated elven community and began to observe them to learn more.
Among that community she found a wizard, who liked to explore the realms of possibilities and magical forces. Led by her unsatiable curiosity, Chryssa snuck into the sorcerer‘s home. She was amazed by how many books he had studied, how many materials he had gathered and how he somehow build a special arc-like construction, all in this rather small basement. Chryssa was caught off guard, when the wizard suddenly returned. She managed to hide in time to see the wizard activate his arc and a portal to a different realm. After activating it, he walked through the arc and vanished triggering a blast of energy as the construction was collapsing. Being exposed to this kind of raw magic, Chryssa thought she would die, but instead found herself to have gained magical abilities of her own.
While learning her new magical abilities, she managed to get by as a mercenary for a bit. Her last mission however, led to an untimely end.
