The Duchy of Ophiuchi is a duchy on the foothills of the Zaighin Mountains. The capital of the Duchy of Ophiuchi is Eridani. Their national animal is an ant. The citizens of Ophiuchi are the Chi's. The ruling dynasty of Ophiuchi are the Alleyn. Their titles include Duke of Ophiuchi, Lord of Eridani, Tamer of the Seas and Red Rider of the Kingdom of Zaigos. The flag of Ophiuchi is shaped, in silhouette, like a pine tree of one of the many forests. On that green field is depicted a mounted knight carrying a red banner. This relates to the Order of the Kingdom of Zaigos, to which the royal house of Ophiuchi is still bound. It is also the sigil of the House of Alleyn.
