Session 25 Report
General Summary
After being pushed back a second time by the Sahaugin in the Sunset Harbor, the party of Gellanna, Korinur, Lecail, Sylran and Zylamir planned for a final attack to try and finish off the remaining Sahaugin. In order to give this final attack the best chance of success, the party decided that it should take a long rest while one member stood watch.
Taking the first watch, Zylamir noticed some movement in the fog within the village, but nothing of note.
The second watch was taken by Korinur who noticed nothing.
The third watch was by Sylran who heard some kind of commotion happening within the village and the noises of fighting carried on the wind.
The final watch was by Lecail who noticed nothing till nearing dawn at which point he noticed a figure walking out from the village toward the camp, Lecail woke Sylran as the figure approached at which point they were introduced to Diederick Kuik.
As the group talked, Diederick told them how he had been living in a nearby house when the Sahaugin took over the village and disturbed his peaceful life of fishing.
After Gellanna and Zylamir woke and joined the conversation for a time, Diederick eventually led the party back into Sunset Harbor to show the crystal which the Sahaugin were guarding. Upon closer inspection the crystal was discovered to contain some form of enchantment faintly detectable within. Realizing the crystal was too large and heavy to carry, Sylran requested the use of the cart which Lord Doldram brought with him so that they might be able to transport the crystal back to Baelryn for further investigation.
