goblin

Goblins are short, wiry goblinoids that have learned to live on the edges of civilization, scraping out a hard-earned existence while dangling at the bottom of the sapient food chain. They tend to be ill-tempered and combative, but have been known to band together as a tribe or under the authority of someone bigger and meaner than themselves to tackle a common goal.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Goblins are short, scrappy bipeds, typically standing no more than three feet tall. They have large eyes and wide, pointed ears that can turn to pinpoint sound or express a goblin's mood. Their mouths are filled with pointed teeth that are usually half-rotted or broken, and their arms hang to their knees when standing upright. Goblins' skin varies widely in color, from red to yellow to green, but typically individuals in a single tribe will share a skin color.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Goblins, on the whole, have excellent darkvision, but the tradeoff is that their species tends to be sensitive to light and therefore shuns the surface during the day.
