Qualifications
Needed to be employed as Masah 'aradi for at least 10 years.
Requirements
Complete loyalty to the Tarik.
Appointment
Appointed directly by the Tarik at the time of the Tarik's succession or the previous Merchant Almasnin's absence.
Duties
Financial reports to the Tarik, as well as general Financial advice for the Tarik. The Merchant Almasnin is responsible for oversight of the Masah 'aradi . Works very closely with the Tajir Malik.
Responsibilities
Monthly inspections and reports of the various mines. Calculating financial reports as well as control over budgeting in the Kingdom.
Benefits
Tax immunity. Tied for 2nd most important position in the Kingdom.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The Tarik may decide that The Merchant Almasnin is not doing a good job. At this instance a new Merchant Almasnin will be appointed to take the place.
