Kaokima

Kaokima is a city positioned midway along the Main Line, and is the third largest city on said line after Helea and Timbercliff. It is strategically located at the furthest point upriver on the Kinmouth where the water is still deep and slow moving enough to be navigable by ferries carrying goods of all sorts. Manpower and many other goods arrive from the south before making their way even further north to the rest of the Line by land. Meanwhile, the vast regions around Kaokima are home to rich agriculture, much of which is delivered here, both to supply the Line and to be shipped out to the rest of Adria.

Long ago, the fields around this now great city were the site of the horrific Battle of Kaokima. The strategic importance of the victory earned here led to Kaokima's modern prominence.
