Many ages ago, long before ink was put on parchment, the subcontinent of Kluodura was home to a thriving civilization. They harnessed arcane energy to access arcano-technologies that have since evaded the progress of thinkers and mages alike. Sometime in the distant past, a strange and terrible doom befell the Kluoduran civilization. Excavations and excursions into the ruins of the vast continent have not given evidence as to the nature of this doom. Expeditions into the vast and winding cavernous ruins reveal clues of incredible prosperity and technological growth.

The organization of Vornair
FoundingAround 450 AM, at the Commune at Nothrakken; tribal leaders from the Nothrakken Mountains met with men from the plains region to the south. In their concordance, they organized the northern half of Senn into the Kingdom of Vornair, with the human Lyukan Markhov named king. Records of the event are scarce, and there is no mention of the date. Rather, noted most commonly are the list of those in attendance.

The Beginning of Recorded History
Era beginning/endAt the Al-Madrasa in Hasdria, halfling orator and scholar Oswrick Silverwoods took a census of the city and surrounding lands to keep on record at the Madrasa. After completing the census, he sent acolytes out across the world to collect and return word of notable events. From these archives, Oswrick began his Anthology of Recorded History.
The Anthology remains as the most detailed and up-to-date account of the world's history, with volumes being added to the Anthology regularly by scholars at the Al-Madrasa. -

Foundation of the Senn Empire
FoundingIn 136 IMH, Empress Vlastina Kucera consolidated power on the Senn continent by annexing the last northern territories of Vornair. Originally resisted by many in the northern region, the increased threat of pirate raids prompted the Vornairians to complete the Empire. Skeptics of the new arrangement claimed that Kucera pushed the pirate raids to the north in an effort to encourage the annexation. To this day, no evidence beyond testimony has been found to affirm these rumors.

The war was won by revolutionary forces, deposing Baldric Kucera and convening the Council of Nine. At the Council's collective decision, House Yeomont was installed as the ruling house of the Empire. -
