Empire of Senn

The Empire of Senn is the primary nation of humanity in Luna. The Empire covers the entire continent of Senn from the The Keep at Icemoot all the way down to the southern wastes. From the capital city of Cyndrilia, the Empress Aelfrit Yeomont rules over the expanse with an immense aura of respect; even as a youth empress developing a reputation of justice, equity, and keen wisdom.
The Empire was founded in 136 by Empress Vlastina Kucera after uniting the lower lords under her rule. House Kucera consolidated power in the infancy of the Empire by abolishing all but the most local of lords, thus requiring the crown to make regional laws and ensure their enforcement. However, this resulted in widespread corruption and an empire that was at risk of crumbling over its own weight. As a final straw, in 604 the Emperor Baldric Kucera mandated conscription to fight a war of conquest against the native tribes of the Metiki Islands. Many in the empire, especially in the northern region of Vornair, saw this mandate as unjust and wholly unnecessary. Vornair rose in revolt and usurped the empire from the House Kucera. After the war, leadership and notable figures from across the continent met in Cyndrilia to decide the fate of the empire.
