Sajlenmirn
Sajlenmirn is a world with only a single massive continent, the landmass of Vel Sarjin.
The climate in this land is comparable to what we find in the Mediterranean.
The face of Vel Sarjin is marked with the remains of civilization gone by, from ruins of mighty cities to roads crossing the lands like scars. But most unusual are the statues that dot the landscape, massive depictions of winged humanoids, some clad in armor and some only in wide robes masterfully worked from the grey stone.
Some are buried under the earth, others have fallen and are surrounded by forest and others again just stand in the wilderness, reaching up to 40 meters in height.
Geographie
Vel Sarjin is a tame land, with not a mountain breaking the soft rolling hills and wide plains. Only at some points of the long coast, you will be able to find high cliffs cutting into the ocean, where in most places the land runs out into a soft beach.
Besides the ruins of days gone by another oddity stretches over the land and under the sea, broad cracks that release boiling hot air. This either happens constantly, making some parts of the ocean boil or from time to time giving it a certain predictability.
Fauna & Flora
Light forests stretch the plains and fields for agriculture spread around resettled ruins full of wheat and other fruits of labor.
High grass grows between the ancient stones and canine predators prowl with smaller animals on the shores of reed covered ponds and lakes.
In these waters fish of different sizes of both carnivore and herbivore orientation.
Few birds circle the sky but those that do are either big birds of prey or the smallest collectors of seeds and worms.
The dominant species of Vel Sarjin and indeed the planet are the Velarin. Humanoids that grow to about 1,60 meters in height and have skin folds under their arms that allow them to glide some way. They have fine fingers and are excellent tinkerers. Its presumed the ruins belong to an extinct species with similar abilities but possibly a stronger physique
