Yaqub's Heart

After the Serpent Slayers slew Yaqub, Alden Gravenitch decided to rip out the serpent's heart, and ate it. The heart subsequently gave him the following powers:

• It allows him to understand any Beast
• It allows him to understand all languages
• It allows him to converse with angels (to ask 1 Commune question/week)
