Vasilisk

The vasilisk is an abomination born of an egg laid by a rooster. The creature hatching from it it part chicken and part serpent - it has the upper body of a shaggy cock with bat wings, reptilian eyes and tongue, and a long serpentine tail. Rumor has it that crops and flowers wilt if a vasilisk steps on them.
Being struck by a vasilisk beak causes a living being to begin to turn to stone. Some practitioners of magic also say that it can enthrall someone with its gaze.
Yuri Barolov, Fedor and Kesha encountered and slew a vasilisk in Chapter 1.
