Sickle of Opening

This sickle was discovered in the possession of Plamenka, matriarch of the polevik family living in Crows' Meadow Warren. She held the item in her hand as she slept.
Chonkorchuk quickly discovered that the item radiated magical power, which allowed it to transform the nature of things it touched. With further investigation, it was discovered that the sickle could be used to scratch stone surfaces. When a rune on a sash worn by Plamenka was simultaneously burned in a magic lantern found at the foot of Plamenka's bed, the outlined area glowed green, and caused a portal to be opened in the wall that was scratched. It remained opened until the wall was then pushed into place, at which time it again glowed green, and sealed up.
Through studying the object, Raskel concluded that it was possible to reproduce the runes on a different surface if one mastered the Knock spell, and taken time to craft each rune. Subsequently, the rune could be burned in the lantern as normal, and the sickle could then be used to create portals in most surfaces.
The sickle is currently in Raskel's possession.
