The year cycle in Nor' begins in the very early fall. The priests had a difficult enough time getting peasants to adopt new names for the days, so they decided to forego inventing a new terminology, and continue to use old heathen names for the months.

1. Veresen' (Heather) - 30 days
2. Listopad (Leaf-fall) - 31 days
3. Gruden' (Freezing) - 30 days
4. Studen' (Snow-cold) - 31 days
5. Sechen' (Hewing) - 31 days
6. Liutyi (Cruel) - 28 days (29 every 4th year)
7. Berezozol (Birch-coal) - 31 days
8. Tsveten' (Blooming) - 30 days
9. Traven' (Grazing) - 31 days
10. Krasen' (Red-dye) - 30 days
11. Lipets (Linden) - 31 days
12. Serpen' (Reaping) - 31 days
