The Surgelings
The Manasurge forced many strange creatures from beyond into Croft, and the Surgelings are the most sentient among them. The Surgelings hail from The Fold; the plane where all Arcane power is sourced, and are feared for being connected with the destruction the Manasurge caused. Many Surgelings do not remember their homeland, as the ones that remain are too young to have seen it.
The Surgelings look very alien compared to those who are native to Croft. Their horns unsettle passerby, and their Arcane aura makes them intimidating. All have heard tales of the terrible acts Surgeling ancestors committed in the time of the Manaurge, but many Surgelings wish only to live in peace and for the world to forget their troubled past.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Tieflings are about the same size and build as humans, but sport pointed horns and unnaturally pigmented eyes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Surgelings reproduce in a similar manner to Humans.
Growth Rate & Stages
Tieflings mature at the same rate as humans but live a few years longer.
Dietary Needs and Habits
A Surgeling needs to eat and sleep in intervals similar to that of a Human.
