Bomemi
Are what we call a treacherous species who seem to inhabit the lands we live on longer than we are documenting, probably even longer than we are. It always intrigued me that they don't seem to cultivate, yet show abilities, like craftsmanship, and intelligence which I would suspect to derive from a high culture. Albeit that they seem developed there was no basis of communication between the Lucemi and them. Also they don't tolerate being watched, going for an attack really quick, thus a lot of their nature stays a myth. Only some Pruemi have made progression of befriending them in the last generations, but keep their secrets on this topic unuasally tight.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They're Luceminoid, about half the size of us, their body is covered in fur and a lot bulkier, making their unbelievable speed and capabilities of sneaking even more astonishing. Their wiry limbs end in paddle like hands, their fingers, counting 6, are shorter and connected by skin which eases them to run through the snow. Their 6 fingers end in comparibly long sharp claws which almost seem metallic.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Bomemi seem to be omnivores like we are and eat what they're capable of collecting, hunting and stashing, which also means abducting or hunting us, the Lucemi, as meal. Only rarely they're witnessed hunting in pack and mostly move by night, which makes sleeping outside of villages in The Mountains of Edi a dangerous undertake.
Biological Cycle
It is a topic of big interest for me, yet due their nature they have proven proficient in keeping their habits and way of living a mistery. Not many have valued their curiosity so much more as their lives to try to research their living. We do know that they seem to draw back in the season of snow storms. We do know from given up shelters, for which they seem to prefer caves or ruins of the Senemi, that they live mostly in solitude and rarely small packs.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Rogues, probably only meet for mating.
Domestication
Seemingly impossible.
Civilization and Culture
History
People probably call me a madman or would be left in terror when they knew that my current guess is that their offspring is connected to the Senemi, who've built the fantastic monuments and ruins spread across Edi. The more I think about it the more obvious it seems, you can see their relationship in their facial features and the unusual 6 fingers. This would also mean that they're way older than we are and we have still no clue about how this lost high culture whose ruins we live on connects to these ferocious beasts.
