Garrick Halden

Garrick Halden is a well known leader among weapon engineers in Novaria. The leader and face of the Technomancers’ Liberation Front, Garrick led hundreds of rebels to victory during the Primus Civil War and assisted with designing strategic war plans used to face Primus despite being heavily outnumbered. His most notable inventions include the Shield Projector, which uses the power of Fundamental Additive Gems to create a large scale shield barrier to cover the wounded, and the Vinewrought Snare Mechanism, a device using Twilight Additive Gems to slow opposing forces by growing vines from the ground to trip field soldiers. Halden was among the members of the Technomancers’ Liberation Front who wrote Novaria’s declaration of independence, and also guided government officials in the right direction while drafting Novaria’s first constitution and laws. While he is a popular candidate during Novaria’s democratic elections, Halden has declined to take any elected position within the government, claiming that engineering is his true passion. He is known for his innovations in Additive Technology, as well as designing weapons and defensive technology during the war. He currently resides in Novaria’s capital with his wife and children, working in the Novarian government’s defense and weapons engineering sector. In his spare time, Garrick engineers small devices to make life easier for his family. He has designed his own form of spectacles that allow him to zoom in on things he is looking at, as well as mechanical toys that are popular with his three children and their friends.
