Unno-Ǐara

The Witch Queen of Hagfell garnered many names for herself throughout her abnormally long lifespan—measured in millennia instead of decades—but none quite caused the dread her oldest name managed among all the descendants of the Eltiri.

She was born in the early days of the First Age when the Eltiri still roamed the lake-spotted lands of Ïwajalaï, with a name long lost to history, and perhaps even to the Mother of Miznaraǐi herself. Unno-Ǐara was the name she took for herself—perhaps from an established nickname or an insult—when she was exiled by the Astajorë, then newly separated from the Eltiri by her and her husband Asta-Kajtï.
